Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Nat's back, while a teen vixen and a hunky lacrosse player spell fresh drama on the "Beverly Hills 90210" remake.
Joe E. Tata, who played Peach Pit diner owner Nat on the original series from 1990 to 2000, recently finished shooting his scenes for the new CW show's pilot episode.
He told AP the part was like "lightning striking twice," though he didn't yet know if he will stay on as a recurring character.
Tata joins other '90210' alumni who have jumped aboard the remake. Jennie Garth will appear as Kelly Taylor, now a guidance counselor, in several episodes, while Tori Spelling will revive Donna Martin for at least one episode.
Shannen Doherty reportedly is in talks to reprise her role as Brenda Walsh, though the network has yet to confirm this.
Meanwhile, the famous zip code will also welcome two new residents in the form of Meghan Markle and Kellan Lutz.
Markle, who is best known as the model holding Suitcase No. 24 on the game show "Deal or No Deal," will play Beverly Hills High vixen Wendy. The 26-year-old Markle will also appear in the upcoming ABC drama pilot "Good Behaviour."
Lutz, 23, will play George Evans, a star lacrosse player who comes from a wealthy family. The actor can be seen in HBO's upcoming miniseries "Generation Kill," while his film credits include "Stick It," "Accepted," "Prom Night" and the upcoming "Twilight" movie.
