Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Having won over the west, Eddie Vedder is now set to conquer the east.
The Pearl Jam frontman will head out on another solo tour this summer, following his first solo tour in April which only hit cities on the west coast.
This time, Vedder will head east for a string of dates beginning with Boston on Aug. 1 and 2 and wrapping up in Chicago Aug. 21 and 22.
Two Canadian cities are on the schedule, Montreal on Aug. 9 and Toronto on Aug. 12 and 13.
As with the earlier tour, New Zealand singer-songwriter Liam Finn will serve as the opening act.
Tickets go on sale July 11, but members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club Fan organization can get their hands on them early starting July 7.
Vedder's tour in April featured obscure Pearl Jam songs, various covers and material from his soundtrack to the 2007 film "Into the Wild," according to Billboard.com.
In other Pearl Jam news, the band wrapped up their mini-U.S. tour Tuesday with a private benefit in New York for the Robin Hood Foundation, raising $3 million to combat poverty.
