Pharrell Williams Getting Rid of Tattoos

(andPOP) - Pharrell Williams feels his tattoos “just don’t go” with the grown up image the star would like to project, reports Perez Hilton.

According to the gossip columnist, Williams revealed to British Vogue that he’s using a revolutionary procedure to rid himself of his tattoos.

The process does not consist of a painful laser procedure that could scar; rather the N.E.R.D front man is opting for using replicated skin to cover his tats.

“It's basically like getting a skin graft, but you're not taking skin from your ass or your legs. These guys actually grow the skin for you. First you have to give them a sample of your skin, which they then replicate. Once that's been done, they sew it on - and it's seamless” says Williams.

And the procedure isn’t cheap either.

“It's going to be pricey, but worth it,” he says. “I got fire on my arms! I'm a grown man!”
