(andPOP) - Matthew Fox might be getting a little animated.

According to Variety, Fox is in talks to take the lead in the adaptation of the comic book "Billy Smoke." He would play a hit man who seeks revenge after a botched job, and decides to rid the world of all assassins.

Though Fox's small screen leading man status is red hot, as Lost's Jack Shepard, he has failed to impress at the box office. His recent film credits include "Speed Racer" and "Vantage Point."
