Death Cab, Wyclef To Play Voodoo Experience

(andPOP) - A bevy of big-name acts have been added to the lineup at this year’s Voodoo Experience music festival, including Death Cab For Cutie, Wyclef Jean, Erykah Badu, Panic At The Disco, Joss Stone, Lupe Fiasco and Dashboard Confessional.

They will join previously announced headliners R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots at City Park in New Orleans from Oct. 24 to 26.

According to Billboard.com, other acts who will take the stage include Tokyo Police Club, DeVotchKa, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Cold War Kids, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Joseph Arthur and Thievery Corporation.

The event will also feature many local acts spanning such genres as jazz, brass band and rock.

Now in its tenth year, the 2007 edition of Voodoo Experience brought out such performers as Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Fall Out Boy, Common and Sinead O'Connor.
