Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - British pop star, Lily Allen got so drunk at a U.K. awards show on Wednesday that she had to be carried out by her bodyguard.
Allen attended U.K. Glamour magazines, Woman of the Year Awards where she received the Editor's Special award.
British papers reported that Allen demanded cigarettes for photos, climbed barefoot onto the stage and was slurring her words when she received her award.
Allen confirmed the reports on her blog Thursday.
“Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honor and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing. This time I’m putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk...” Writes Allen on her blog, “Oh dear”.
Allen was reported to have been intoxicated earlier this year at another event during the Cannes Film Festival.
