Former Secretary to Blame for Shania’s Split with Hubby?

(andPOP) - Could Shania Twain’s former long-time secretary and house manager be the reason the singer and her husband Robert “Mutt” Lange split?

Several sources claim Marie-Anne Thiébaud, 37, was behind the couple’s recent marital break-up.

“Mutt and Marie-Anne left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship,” says one source. However, the “other woman” denies she is the cause of the couple’s marriage problems.

According to E! News, Thiébaud said, “If you're looking for a person that broke up a marriage, then you have the wrong person. I'm not that person.” Lange has also denied to “People” magazine that Thiébaud was the reason he and Twain have split, stating that an affair was “absolutely not the reason [for the breakup]... It's literally just a growing apart, that's all.”

Last week, Twain announced her split from her music producer husband after 14 years of marriage. The couple have a six-year-old son together named Eja.
