(andPOP) - The People's Choice nominees for this year's MuchMusic Video Awards have been unveiled.

Feist, who won five Juno Awards last month including artist of the year and album of the year, is up for favourite Canadian artist against last year's winner Avril Lavigne, Belly, City And Colour and Nelly Furtado.

Getting nods for favourite Canadian group are Billy Talent, Finger Eleven, Hedley, IllScarlett and Simple Plan, who won the award four years in a row beginning in 2002. Billy Talent took the prize last year.

The nominees for favourite international video are Fall Out Boy, Flo Rida featuring T-Pain, Kanye West, Rihanna and Timbaland Presents OneRepublic. The category combines the now defunct awards for favourite international group and favourite international artist, which were won last year by My Chemical Romance and Hilary Duff, respectively.

Fans can vote by heading over to the MuchMusic website or by texting "MMVA" to 299299.

The rest of the categories and nominees will be announced next week.

The MuchMusic Video Awards, now in its 19th year, will air live from downtown Toronto on June 15 beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
