(andPOP) - Jimmy Eat World have a date – eight dates, to be exact – with Canadians during their upcoming summer tour.

The band will get the 14-city run started with a special hometown show on June 18 in Phoenix, AZ.

They then resume the tour on July 1 in Montreal, before moving west across Canada and the U.S.

The band's latest studio album, "Chase This Light," debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard charts last October.

They recently wrapped up an extensive co-headlining tour with Paramore and have also just released a two-disc deluxe edition of their 2001 album "Bleed American."
