QuickerTek now offers an External Battery Charger for the MacBook Air, which adds six to ten hours of battery power more than the built-in battery can provide. The Mac-Book Air has a non-renewable battery, making the usual user solution of using multiple batteries to power the laptop for longer not possible. The QuickerTek product, however, solves this problem and can also charge a MacBook Air for a total of 12 to 16 hours. The external battery is used for as long as possible before converting to the internal battery power source in the MacBook Air.
