Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - After a breakthrough year, Vancouver rockers State Of Shock are getting ready for their first headlining tour.
The quintet will hit various venues in western Canada, alongside the recently reformed Econoline Crush.
The tour kicks off May 22 in Victoria and wraps up June 10 in Regina. SOS will then head east for Charlottetown's "Festival Of Lights," followed by a set at the Calgary Stampede.
It's been a big year for State of Shock, who first formed in 1999. Besides joining Nickelback and Puddle of Mudd for a cross-country tour last summer, the band was nominated for best new group at this year's Juno Awards.
They also won two Canadian Radio Music Awards and a Canadian Independent Music Award for "Money Honey," the debut single off their 2007 album "Life, Love & Lies."
