Ryan and Scarlett Announce Engagement

(andPOP) - Canadian heartthrob Ryan Reynolds is off the market again. He and girlfriend of more than a year, Scarlett Johansson, have announced that they are engaged.

Reports of their engagement began circulating in January. But they did not confirm their "recent" engagement until yesterday with People magazine - and it just so happens that Johansson's debut album was released today.

Of their engagement, Johansson's rep told People that the lovebirds are "both thrilled."

Reynolds, 31, will next appear in a film called, "The Proposal" - something that he is now a seasoned verteran at. Reynolds never made it down the aisle when he was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette.
