Confirmed: Brit Returns to 'How I Met Your Mother'

(andPOP) - Britney Spears will be making a return to "How I Met Your Mother."

After many conflicting reports, some confirming and some denying, "The Insider" has received solid confirmation of Britney's return.

Executive Producer Ciiag Thomas said, "We're all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again. And just to head it off at the pass this time around: 'Yes, Mom, Britney's very nice and no, I can't get her autograph for you.' "

The first episode that Britney appeared in brought in HIMYM its highest ratings ever.

Production of the episode is currently ongoing, and it will air May 12.
