(andPOP) - Life really does imitate art for "Saturday Night Live" star Amy Poehler.

Poehler and her actor husband Will Arnett are expecting their first child, they confirmed with People magazine.

She is currently starring in the box office hit, "Baby Mama."

According to Lainey Gossip, her condition was obvious on the set of SNL when Poehler began experiencing morning sickness during rehearsals. She had also quit smoking.

The baby is due in late fall.
