(andPOP) - Jane's Addiction reunited for the first time in 17 years at a Los Angeles party on Wednesday.

Reuters reports that the four original members of the band performed together to receive a career achievement award for their efforts.

Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bass player Eric Avery took the stage at the NME awards in L.A. Avery has not played with the band since it original broke up in 1991.

The band played four songs including "Mountain Songs" and "Jane Says."

"We made it and I'm really happy to be here," Farrell said to the crowd.
