(andPOP) - Although We Will Rock You will be ending it's year-long run in Toronto next month, it may not be the last time Toronto audiences rock with the music of Queen.

Ben Elton, who wrote the book for We Will Rock You, tells the Toronto Star that he and Queen are considering a sequel to the rock musical, and that there is a very good chance it could premiere in Toronto.

"We love this city so much, not just the talent of its actors but the generosity of its audiences. It's a lovely thought to start it all over again here, isn't it?" Elton told the newspaper.

He said Toronto would also be the perfect location to launch a sequel, because We Will Rock You is still rocking strong in other cities - such as London and in Australia.

Elton said the sequel would most likely follow Scaramouche and Galileo after he reaches rockstar success - ultimately leading to his downfall.

Elton stressed there is no shortage of Queen music to draw upon for the sequel because the band has had so many hits to draw upon.

As for the possible title?

"If you dip into Queen's greatest hits, you'd hardly find a better one than `The Show Must Go On.'"
