Hollywood’s most notable train wreck Britney Spears was involved in a minor collision in her Mercedes-Benz Saturday on Los Angeles' 101 Freeway.
Spears hit the car in front of her while heading east in a traffic jam at 8:18 p.m, according to the California Highway Patrol's accident report, E! Online reports.
“She failed to notice that the vehicle in front of her had come to a complete stop," a CHP officer said. "She attempted to break but failed to stop her vehicle prior to colliding with a 2006 Nissan."
Spears’ bump-in led to a chain-reaction as the car she hit ran into another vehicle also. However, thankfully, none of the drivers suffered any injuries.
Rumours have been rampant that the pop star was ordered to to take a sobriety test, but officers have confirmed no such thing occurred.
"No information of that type is in the report," Officer Patrick Kimball said.
After the accident, it was business as usual for Spears who dined at Italian hot spot Dominick's in West Hollywood with mom Lynne Spears and a friend.
