(andPOP) - Gone are the days where wires from your Nunchuk remote hinder your gameplay. Thanks to the new Nunchuk Wireless Kit from Zappies Ltd, Gamers can now enjoy a fully wireless experience from their Wii.

Available only in the UK, the Nunchuk wireless kit retails for £19.95 (about $40 CDN) and includes a wireless unit to house the Nunchuk’s cable and the wireless receiver which connects to the bottom of the Wii’s controller. The device uses two AAA batteries, which lasts up to 20 hours.

While the kit does liberate the user from wired oppression, the new peripheral is as long as the Wii controller and is likely going to feel unbalanced. A temporary solution at best until a fully wireless Nunchuk becomes available.
