Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - THQ announced today that it will be bringing the beach to Wii owners via their new IP, Big Beach Sports.
Developed by HB Studios Multimedia, Big Beach Sports takes place at a seaside resort where up to four players will be able to compete in beach activities such as American football, volleyball, soccer, cricket, disc golf and bocce using the Wii remote's unique controls.
"The innovative Wii Remote(TM) controller has revolutionized sports gaming, letting us involve the player like never before," said Steve Dauterman, senior vice president of product development, THQ. "Big Beach Sports applies the control scheme to each of the varied sports featured, letting players pick up and play the games they know and learn the ones they don't know."
