Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Disney and Pixar's "Ratatouille" won a whopping nine trophies at the 35th annual Annie Awards on Friday, including best animated feature.
The tale of an aspiring rodent chef beat out "Bee Movie," "Surf's Up," "The Simpsons Movie" and "Persepolis" for the top prize at the animation awards show, presented by the International Animated Film Association.
"Ratatouille" also won best directing and screenwriting for Brad Bird, best voice acting for Ian Holm, and prizes for character animation, character design, music, production design and storyboarding.
The 11-minute short "Your Friend the Rat," which appears on the Ratatouille DVD, won Pixar a 10th Annie in the short subject division.
Sony Pictures Animation's "Surf's Up" won for animated effects and animated production artist.
In the TV categories, "Creature Comforts America" won for best television production, while "El Tigre" took the prize for best TV production for children.
The Annies ceremony took place on the UCLA campus.
As for "Ratatouille," the accolades may keep pouring in - it has five nominations at this year's Oscars, and is up for the best animation award at London's Bafta ceremony on Sunday.
