(andPOP) - Brash Entertainment announced today that it will be developing the videogame adaptation of the next instalment in the horror franchise SAW which will launch along side the movie in October 2009 exclusively for next-generation consoles.
Brash said in a press release that the game will answer many of the films unanswered questions and will deliver “the horrifying suspense and disbelief that has floored fans worldwide!" Brash also mentioned that it will licence the use of Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 which is used to power games such as: Gears of War, Mass Effect and Bioshock.
Brash Entertainment is the new video game company which is “laser- focused on becoming the leading publisher of high quality theatrical-based games.” Brash is responsible for other game adaptations such as Alvin and The Chipmunks Game and the upcoming Jumper game.
