Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie both became first-time moms over the weekend -- and in the same Los Angeles hospital ward to boot.
Richie, 26, whose father is singer Lionel Richie, gave birth to a daughter named Harlow Winter Kate Madden in the Cedars-Sinai hospital, according to People magazine.
The father is Richie's boyfriend Joel Madden, lead singer of Good Charlotte.
"The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents," said a spokesman for the couple late Friday.
Aguilera, 27, gave birth in the same ward of the hospital on Saturday. The five-time Grammy Award-winning singer confirmed the birth on her website Sunday.
"Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman," read the short message. "He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy."
Aguilera and Bratman, a music executive, married in 2005.
