Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - A very vague Lil Wayne, 25, recently discussed his upcoming CD release entitled "The Carter III", however the hardworking rapper reportedly would not place a date or time for the release.
"The Carter III is coming in 2008. I don't want to give no months, no date," he said. "I got a gang of singles [on Carter III]. [It's] produced by my homeboy Diesel. He's also a Young Money affiliate. He's down with us. He's a producer/singer/engineer. He does it all. I have my artist featured on the song. Her name is Chanell. We already have a remix featuring Brisco and Lil' Boosie."
On most of his other albums, Weezie's colaborations are endless, and he has popped up on enough of his fellow rappers' records in past as well. And even though this time he had the opportunity to work with a real live Hip Hop great, Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne still has one artist that he wants to work with but hasn't already had the chance.
"I have never done nothing with Mariah Carey, and I would like to, because I love older women," he said. "I'm attracted to older women. It's my thing. Mariah Carey, she might need a dude like me. I do my thing."
