(andPOP) - THQ announced yesterday in a press release that it will be developing the game adaptation of this summer's Disney/Pixar animated movie Wall-E.
Developed internally by THQ's Heavy Iron studio, creators of The Incredibles game and the Sponge Bob Square Pants movie game, the game promises to allow players to relive moments from the movie as well as deliver entirely new storylines and environments not present in the movie.
Wall-E will be the second game developed under the 2004 agreement made between THQ and Disney/Pixar which grants THQ the rights to create games for four Disney/Pixar film properties. Ratatouille was the first game developed by THQ under this agreement.
The game is expected to be released this summer along side the movie and will be available on all major platforms.
