(andPOP) - On March 7th, Toronto will host the Canadian Radio Music Awards luncheon at The Royal York hotel. The event will be included as a part of next years' Canadian Music Week. At the event, Canadian singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for her accomplishments, as well as a well-deserved spot in The Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
In 2004, Morissette hosted the Junos, and after a considerably long and successful career in music, the singer went on to try her hand at acting. As it turns out, Morissette has more than one set of skills when it comes to performing.
The singer turned actress was recently cast in the film adaptation of Philip K. Dick's novel Radio Free Albemuth, and her next album, rumoured to be called Flavours of Entanglement, is due out sometime next year.
