(andPOP) - It seems that everyone is patting Radiohead on the back for their pay-what-you-can online album release ? everyone, except Oasis.

Oasis lead singer, Liam Gallagher, reportedly stated that although they are busy recording their seventh album without a specific record label commitment, the band would never dream of handing their hard work over to fans with the risk of not being paid, like Radiohead did.

Gallagher announced that only over his "dead body" would their record go potentially unpaid for.

The band is anticipating an August release, as they plan on being out of the studio by Christmas. They have been working with producer Dave Sardy, who also had a hand in their 2005 album as well.
