Add the andPOP Facebook Application(andPOP) - Mark Wahlberg may be bringing the Payne very soon.
The Oscar-nominated actor is in negotiations to star in "Max Payne," Fox's live-action adaptation of the bestselling Rockstar game.
Wahlberg would play the titular DEA agent, who is haunted by the murders of his wife and child and finds himself in the middle of a mob war.
John Moore ("Behind Enemy Lines," "Flight of the Phoenix") will direct the film, which is set to begin early next year.
Wahlberg is currently shooting Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" and recently wrapped up M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening," which will be released next summer.
He can be seen in theatres now alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Robert Duvall in "We Own The Night."
