(andPOP) - 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' funny man Drew Carrey got down on one knee and popped a totally different question this week.

Christina Papadopolous, Carey's rep, confirmed that the former comedian, turned sitcom sensation, turned game show host proposed to his girlfriend, Nicole Jaracz, on Tuesday. Jaracz is a culinary school graduate who, like Carey, has never been married before.

"They are both very happy and excited about their future together," Papadopolous said in a statement. "It will be the first marriage for both. No date for a wedding has been set yet."

But that isn't the only bit of good news Carey has received recently. Carey has been preparing to take the place of game show legend Bob Barker on 'The Price is Right'.
Carey will kick off the game show's 36th season on Monday.
