(andPOP) - With a new label, and a new album to be released on Tuesday, Vanessa Carlton has undergone a transformation from a little girl with remarkable talent, to a beautiful woman with that same talent still intact.

After growing and learning about the industry, the singer emerges with a whole new outlook on life, as heard in her latest single, and the same great Vanessa Carton sound.

Her new album entitled "Heroes and Thieves" is the product of her recent signing to Irv Gotti's label The Inc. Records, made famous by Ja Rule and Ashanti. In the video for her first single "Nolita Fairytale" Carlton reflects on her past by spoofing her video for "A Thousand Miles".

'Nessaholics', as they call themselves, have waited long enough and come Tuesday the wait will be over. "Heroes and Thieves" will hit shelves Oct. 10 in music stores across Canada and the United States, and judging by the first single, Carlton’s ‘fairytale’ will certainly see a happy ending.
