The results of the box office guessing game

Let's see how I did in my first box office prediction.

I said Happily N'Ever After would earn $8 million. It grossed $6.8 million. Off by 15%

I predicted Freedom Writers would pull in $11 million. It pulled in $9.7 million. Off by 11.8%

And finally, I said Code Name: The Cleaner would bomb at $3 million. It did $4.6 million, still a bomb though my weakest prediction of the week. Off by 46.7%

So overall, I was off by $4.1 million (1.2 million, 1.3 million and 1.6 million); divided into the total of the three films and I was off by 19.4% this week.

Based on a new scale I am about to create, I earned a B. Not bad for my first week.

Within 12.5% = A
Within 25% = B
Within 37.5% = C
Within 50 % = D
50% and over = F

Not bad at all. Just hit me though, what a weak offering in the box office this week... yikes.
