UK electro-pop band Clean Bandit is taking over North America with hits like Tears and Rockabye. The trio which consists of Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson and Luke Patterson offer a unique sound, electronic music performed on classical instruments. They also collaborate with some incredible talents (Louisa Johnson, Sean Paul, Stylo G) to give each Clean Bandit track a distinct sound.
Their debut record, New Eyes came out in 2014 and since then the band has been touring and creating new music. With the departure of Neil Amin-Smith last year, the band restructured as a trio and are collaborating more than ever with vocalists from around the globe. They recently released a heart crushing video for Symphony with Swedish singer Zara Larsson, check it out for all the feels.
We caught up to them to talk about their unique sound, collaborations, and find out who is the cleanest bandit of the bunch (HINT: it’s not Luke).
Clean Bandit bring their electronic symphony to the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto on April 24th and head over to Le National in Montreal on April 25th.
