The Boss Baby took over the box office this weekend and for good reason, the funny, endearing family adventure speaks to audiences young, old and in between. Set in a world where cranky babies are shipped off to Baby Corp instead of a family, one business minded baby infiltrates the Templeton family. The Boss Baby is on an undercover mission to put babies at the top of the cuteness chain, crushing Puppy Co. But despite his dastardly good looks and knack for business he’ll need the help of his new big brother Tim. Luckily for the Boss Baby, Tim will do just about anything to get rid of his new baby brother, even infiltrate Puppy Co.
Brigitte Truong (@brigittetruong) from The Watchlist (@the_watchlist) caught up with the creative minds behind The Boss Baby, producer Ramsey Ann Naito and director Tom McGrath to talk about their personal connection to the film, adapting the children’s book by Marla Frazee and the star studded voice cast including Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel.
The Boss Baby is currently playing in theatres across Canada.
