19 Adam Lambert Covers That Will Blow Your Mind

Posted on January 5, 2017 by

There isn’t a voice in music quite like Adam Lambert. The 34-year-old powerhouse had us talking from the moment he belted out those Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics when he first auditioned for American Idol way back when.

Three albums, successful tours and a handful of award nominations and wins later, we still go crazy over his show-stopping voice and lovable personality. Whether it’s touring his own material, singing his heart out as the frontman for Queen, or making stellar cameos on shows like Glee and Pretty Little Liars, Adam is one of music’s biggest assets.

When he’s not crushing his own songs he’s wowing us with the spin he puts on some of our favourite songs. If you were wondering if there’s anything he can’t sing, we’re here to tell you that the answer is no.

There are the Adam Lambert covers that we just had to show you because they’re going to blow your mind.

Stay (Rihanna)

CHILLS.

Is This Love (Bob Marley)

An unexpected but exceptional choice.

Red House (Jimi Hendrix)

Few could blow us away – Adam is one of those few.

Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash)

You’ve never heard a Johnny Cash cover quite like this one!

Girl Crush (Little Big Town)

Can we listen to this on repeat for the rest of our lives???

Titanium (David Guetta feat. Sia)

His voice just fits with every song.

Somebody To Love (Queen)

There’s a reason the band asked Adam to be their frontman…we hope Freddie loves him as much as we do.

Marry The Night (Lady Gaga)

SO much fun!

Feeling Good (Nina Simone)

It was clear from the beginning that he was something special.

Cryin’ (Aerosmith)

Not many can take on Steven Tyler’s high notes but obviously Adam can SLAY them.

Black Cat (Janet Jackson)

That voice…and that jacket!

Barracuda (Heart)

His duets with Lea were FIRE.

I Want To Break Free (Queen)

What a powerhouse!

Faith (George Michael)

We have…a lot of feelings.

Tracks Of My Tears (Smokey Robinson)

So beautiful!

Beth/Detroit Rock City (Kiss)

So much awesome on one stage.

Whole Lotta Love (Led Zeppelin)

No one covers classic rock songs quite like our Adam.

Born To Be Wild (Steppenwolf)

And born to sing!

Mad World (Gary Jules)

There’s a reason this cover became his signature.

The “Lay Me Down” Adam does is a vocal collaboration done on an Avicii song; not Sam Smith.

all great performances – just a heads up ‘LAY ME DOWN’ is not the Sam Smith Version – it’s Avicii’s song “Lay Me Down Featuring Adam Lambert” from his Album “True”.

I have nearly all of these on a CD and is playing on repeat…also, add Stay, Rihanna, so ethereal, the man can sing ANYTHING and own it

  7. Laurie Waller says:

Adam is undeniably the best male vocalist in the world! No one can match his range, versatility, stamina and consistency…and if that weren’t enough that face…….The throngs of fans can’t even describe their admiration, it’s ethereal. In these hard times he brings us a light, puts a smile on our face and something to look forward to.. the day when we can bask in the glory of a concert or new release. Like the Ever Ready bunny he keeps going, more and more magical, interesting in every facet. I feel sorry for other men. Adam has made the bar so very high!
