Fifth Harmony stole our hearts with their soulful sounds and big personalities from the moment they walked into the X Factor stage — but two albums and multiple chart topping singles later, Harmonizers have hit a bit of a roadblock.
The five piece — Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, and Normani Hamilton — have had some things to overcome recently. From Camila walking off stage mid performance due to anxiety, to Normani’s heartbreaking experience with cyberbullies, to Lauren’s getting caught with weed at the airport being blown out of proportion, the girls have been fighting a lot of the things most young adults do.
Early this morning, the official Fifth Harmony Twitter account posted an official statement, revealing that Camila will be leaving the group — and that Dinah, Ally, Normani and Lauren will go forward as a four piece

Well, that’s a thing that’s happened. So, it’s a complicated time to be a Harmonizer.
Many have been with the girls since Ex Factor, and have stuck by them through their album releases, single drops and epic music videos — we know, we’re there too. We’ve spent quite a few years following these gals, spending time with then whenever we can.
Fifth Harmony lives on, but there is no denying Camila leaving will mean serious changes to the band and their sound — but change isn’t always a bad thing. The only thing Harmonizers can do right now is support all of the girls — there is no room for hate, because these girls are so often pinned against one another that it’s the last thing they need right now. These girls love one another and they love what they do — they just want to make music. There is no room for “fans” to start dragging down the girls in the group, or Camila. Decisions were made, and new paths will be walked upon.
Right now we support everyone. We’re rooting for Camila on her new endeavor, as well as Lauren, Ally, Dinah and Normani on wherever they choose to take the group, and it’s sound for that third album everyone’s been talking about.
So much happens behind closed doors that we can’t begin to try to understand why or how this went down — so need not be discouraged Harmonizers. Fifth Harmony lives on, as does those countless tunes the five fierce ladies have blessed us with. A lot of change is coming our way, but we should only be excited — not angry or hateful, because negativity has never solved anything.

Harmonizers, you’re a brave, honest and beautiful fandom — so don’t let anyone online try to persuade or hinder your hope for a great future for these ladies. Let people compare Camila to Zayn. People will do what they will but those true fans who have nothing but love in their hearts for these girls, keeping being you’re bad ass BO$$ self and keep your head up high — because isn’t that what we wan’t all these ladies to do? Stay strong and move forward? That’s what we thought.
As for us? We will still be here celebrating Fifth Harmony’s killer tracks, incredible covers, and will continue to try to laugh with them and ask them the questions you wan’t the answers too.
If you’re feeling us, put your five high.
