2017 tours

It’s looking like 2017 is going to be a great year for some of our favourite artists as they take their new albums on the road. Ranging across multiple music genres, we’d give anything to attend some of these massive tours — well, lots of money…inevitably.

From Ariana Grande to Tim McGraw, this year is looking very promising for music fans. These tours will be hitting multiple Canadian and American venues and connecting with thousands of fans.

Whether you’re into pop, rock, country or a mix — or want to just be a listener or on the VIP — you’ll want to snag yourself a ticket to at least one of these shows.

These are the tours that make 2017 look so damn good.

The Weeknd

Tour: Starboy: Legend of the Fall

With one of the most highly-anticipated albums to be released this year, The Weeknd is taking his Grammy-nominated sound on tour. No word yet on who the opener is — but we can bet it’s going to be an amazing party.

Ariana Grande

Tour: Dangerous Woman

Ariana is taking some fierce female talent on the road with her and you might recognize the names —  UK girl group Little Mix and and newcomer Victoria Monet. This tour is packed with big voices — tickets please!?!

Kings of Leon

Tour: Walls

This band is back with their new album Walls and a brand new tour to match. After taking three years off after their last album Mechanical Bull, it looks like they’re ready to head back on the road and re-connect with their fans. It looks like their only Canadian show is in Toronto on January 16 — so get your tickets before they sell out!

Green Day

Tour: The Revolution Radio

Billy Joe and the gang are coming back to the stage after years of being away from the spotlight — they’ll be supporting their new album Revolution Radio and making a few stops in Canada along the way. Get ready to rock!

The Canadian alt-rock band is heading out on the road to support their latest album Morning Report– — the tour starts at the end of this year with a handful of 2017 dates in North America until the end of February. If you’ve ever watched one of their performances online or had the chance to catch a show, you know why this tour is a MUST SEE.

Bruno Mars

Tour: 24 Karet Gold World Tour

If the name is anything to go by, this tour is going to be one hell of a party. Bruno is known for putting on entertaining shows (remember his EPIC superbowl half-time show?) and he’s bringing that magic north for a few Canadian tour dates. Welcome back, Bruno!

Maroon 5

Tour: Unnamed

The boys are back for another arena tour, hitting up a few Canadian venues in Ontario & Quebec and numerous U.S venues. With so many hits to choose from, it’s safe to say it’s going to be a fun tour.

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

Tour: Soul2Soul

Country’s golden couple are back for another joint tour — have we mentioned Faith hasn’t toured since 2007?  We can’t wait to rock out and swoon to some of their amazing duets.

Simple Plan

Tour: Taking One For The Team

Bring on all the preteen-nostalgia. The boys have had to push back the dates for this tour to 2017 due to Pierre’s vocal rest but they plan on hitting up a few Canadian spots like Toronto and Montreal. AND they’re touring with All Time Low — amazing!

Sam Roberts Band

Tour: Terraform

The band will be starting a few of their dates towards the end of this year, carrying into early 2017 to support their sixth full-length album Terraform. These Canadian legends know how to put on a good show, you won’t want to miss it!
