After releasing her debut Under Your Skin in 2011, Halifax native Ria Mae has followed up with her self-titled sophomore record featuring “Ooh Love” and radio hit “Clothes Off.”
With Juno nominations and a number one spot on CBC’s Radio 2 under her belt, this raspy Canadian is making a splash in the industry with her unique brand of alternative pop. Armed with meaningful lyrics and profound music videos, she’s spreading important messages about love, and the LGBT community, in ways we haven’t seen before.
For obvious reasons we had to catch up with the songstress when she was in town to put her up to our Desert Island challenge.
Hit play for all that and more!
