All hail Shonda Rhimes, a woman so dynamic and talented we now dedicate Thursdays to her stellar TV lineup- #TGIT.
The bonafide superstar writer/producer is basically unstoppable; she’s the brains behind some of our faves like Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy and it never ceases to amaze us how everything she touches is moving, groundbreaking and heartbreaking.
Our girl has created some of the best female characters on television in a time when we need them the most. These characters through the seasons have taught us very important life lessons;. These ladies are simultaneously relatable, vulnerable, strong and dynamic. They are multi faceted and represent real, flawed, emotional, sexy women.
Side note: She also wrote the Britney Spears classic film Crossroads (IT’S A CLASSIC, KAY!?) and our favourite movie sequel, Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. #NEVERFORGET
These are just a few of the life lessons we’ve learned from the badass ladies of Shondaland.
