It’s #NewMusicFriday — which NORMALLY means ANDPOP’s music obsessed Intern Merna will be filling you in on all the new songs you should be listening to them day they get released — today. Because you deserve to listen to the best of the best.
BUT, today Editor-writer-person Brittany will be filling you in on the new music you want to be jamming out to today. Here are the new tracks we’re stoked about here at ANDPOP:
“Something In The Way You Move” by Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is officially the queen of fun, catchy sing-a-long songs. This will be in our heads for a while.
“Kiss You” by Olly Murs
We didn’t realize how badly we needed new music from this Brit. The song is sweet and makes us want to get up and dance. Olly never disappoints.
“Body Heat” by Selena Gomez
So we got a lot of new music from Selena Gomez — a whole album really. This may be one of our fave tracks off of her new album Revival. It’s sexy, flirtatious and really represents the new, confident, mature sound she’s going for with the album. At the same time it also stands out from the rest of the record. The rhythm of the track is infectious and has shimmying in our seats.
“Stone Cold” by Demi Lovato
Another stunning ballad from the pop princess who’s powerful voice never fails to give us goosebumps whether she’s belting out a ballad or a fun dance tune. The lyrics of Stone Cold are stunning, her vocals are stunning … did we mention it’s stunning?
“Wasted Love” by City And Colour
We officially have our new favourite chill-out, work tune. This slow track instantly calms us — while still making us want to bob our heads. Listening to this track will get embarrassing real quick at work.
“Hello” by Hedley
This Canadian band always has new stuff for us to obsess over. “Hello” is fun and takes us back to our elementary school days.
“Love Me” by The 1975
It’s a good thing we were on a hunt for good chill-out songs to listen to while working. Although, this song is pretty sexy and seducing — there’s also that. The vocals are awesome, the lyrics are fun, and we can’t get enough of this track.
