Troye Sivan Fools Music Video

It’s #NewMusicFriday — which means ANDPOP’s music obsessed Intern Merna will be filling you in on all the new songs you should be listening to them day they get released — today. Because you deserve to listen to the best of the best.

“Fools” By Troye Sivan

The second video in his “Blue Neighbourhood” series, Troye Sivan explores the consequences when being your true self around people who may just not agree with it.

“The Beach” By The Neighbourhood

It looks like The Neighbourhood are officially back. After releasing “R.I.P 2 My Youth” a couple of weeks ago, we’ve been sitting at the edge of our seats waiting for new music and it looks like we’ve got. The nice soothing sound of an acoustic guitar in the background puts us at ease when we’re listening to the tune.

“Every Open Eye” By CHVRCHES

There isn’t one particular song off this album you should listen to — listen to it all. It’s pure genius. CHVRCHES have done it again.

“Infinity” By One Direction

It’s almost hard to believe that this will be one of the last songs we’ll hear from this boyband for a while. *teardrop* Wipe your tears for now, because the band has released another hit that will have you slow dancing all through the night.

“Love Me Like You” By Little Mix

We love a good girl group, and Little Mix are that. The song has an 80s sound and feels like it should belong in a reboot of Hairspray – if they were to reboot the film for the third time.

“Alive” By Sia

We can always count on Sia to give us a great song with beautiful lyrics and top notch vocals. “Alive” is no exception.

“Lay It All On Me” By Rudimental & Ed Sheeran

It’s a match made from heaven. Rudimental can produce the great track and Ed Sheeran’s vocals are a gift from heaven we’d love to keep forever and ever.

“Writing’s On The Wall” By Sam Smith

This one is up for debate in the office. Sam Smith is a genius with even more of a brilliant voice to match. It’s a great song, don’t get us wrong, but some of us feel like it’s something we’ve already heard before. [Editors note: and some of us think it’s flawless]. Sam recorded this song for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre. Give it a listen, and let us know what you think; tweet us @ANDPOP!
