Australia is known for lots of things: kangaroos, koala bears, honey, Cody Simpson, Steve Irwin, surfing…not so much for their boy bands. But thanks to Justice Crew, that just might change.
Made up of Paul Eric Merciadez, Lukas “Wildrok” Bellesini, Len John Ruela Pearce, John Len Ruela Pearce, Samson Cosray Smith and Solo Tohi, the six piece boy band have already made their mark down under with their signature feel good, pop-dance sound. In fact, their hit song “Boom Boom” attracted the ears of Pitbull’s record label, Mr. 305 Inc., who helped release “Boom Boom” stateside. Now with a string of bonafide hits under the belt (check out “Rise & Fall”), Justice Crew have gone on to headline three tours and support countless of big American acts.
Seeing as they’ve only been to Toronto once before, ANDPOP’s Simon Mohos thought he would give the Australians a taste of Canada by bringing the boys over to Toronto’s Hockey Hall Of Fame. While there, Justice Crew spill on what it’s like to tour with Kesha and Pitbull, the other crazy acts they got to tour with in their native Australia, and what they do while travelling. Simon then tests their hockey skills with the shoot out and goal tending challenges!
Who scored a couple of goals? Who made some wicked saves? Hit play to find out!
Justice Crew’s latest album, Live By The Words, is out now!
