On the heels of the biggest breach of celebrity privacy this year, it has been announced that George Clooney will direct a new film about the U.K. phone-hacking scandal. The scandal revealed that the phones lines of various celebrities, members of the British royal family, politicians, relatives of dead soldiers and victims of the July 2005 London bombings were being hacked by the News of the World tabloid.
