Aubrey Plaza does comedy like no other.
Best known for her role as April on Parks and Recreation, the actress can go from deceptively evil one moment to sincere in her signature deadpan style without batting an eye. In fact, its her unique, downplayed comedy that makes her a much sought after actress, not to mention, incredibly GIF-able.
After appearing in films like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and The To Do List Aubrey goes into a different direction with her latest zombie rom-com, Life After Beth. In it, she plays a zombie who doesn’t know she’s zombie and goes on living life with her boyfriend (Dane DeHaan) and her family (John C. Riley and Molly Shannon) like nothing happened — until her newfound zombie tendencies catch up with her, that is.
Aubrey stopped by Toronto earlier this summer and even sat down with ANDPOP’s Simon Mohos for a quick chat. The actress spills on zombie orgasms, supposed weird on-set antics, and even plays the zombie version of “Fuck, Marry or Kill.”
So what are you waiting for? Make sure you hit play for all that and more!
