Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, a.k.a. Hollywood’s most beautiful, not to mention powerful, couple, are now officially married.
A spokesperson for the happy couple confirmed the news to the Associated Press Thursday morning.

Jolie and Pitt, who have been together for seven years, tied the knot in a private ceremony surrounded by their close family and friends at Chateau Miraval, their estate in France, says the spokesperson. The couple obtained a marriage license from a local California judge who also conducted the ceremony.
Jolie and Pitt’s six kids took part in the ceremony. Their eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, walked Jolie down the aisle in lieu of her estranged father, actor Jon Voight, while Zahara and Vivienne threw flower petals as, presumably, their flower girls, says their spokesperson. Shiloh and Knox were the ringbearers.
This is the second marriage for Pitt and the third for Jolie. Pitt was previously married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston (2000 to 2005), and Jolie to Jonny Lee Miller (1996 to 1999) and Billy Bob Thornton (2000-2003).
The two met on the set of the comedy-action flick Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where they played a married couple who looked like the perfect couple on the surface but really were assassins tasked to kill each other. Their obvious chemistry together rocked the tabloids as Pitt was still married to Aniston at the time, and the trio’s presumed “tension” has become gossip fodder since.
Now that Brangelina have officially put a ring on each other, we can hopefully stop with the silly “have they split up?” nonsense and let them live their happy, perfect lives together.
