STOP THE PRESSES!!
Tom Hiddleston has made the world a MUCH happier place just by dumping a bucket of ice water over his head, all for a good cause.
Dressed in a white T-shirt, the actor took part in the ALS Bucket Challenge that’s quickly taking over the internet. A movement that attempts to raise awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease), participants have to either pour a bucket of ice water over their heads in 24 hours or donate $100 to ALS research.
“Hello, my name is Tom Hiddleston and I am here accepting Nathan Fillion‘s nomination to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Lou Gehrig’s Disease. You all have to donate,” said Hiddleston in a video posted on his WhoSay account.
Then taking the plunge, the result was undoubtedly glorious:
But that wasn’t all. Mr. Hiddleston then nominated his pals Benedict Cumberbatch and Luke Evans to take part in the ALS Bucket Challenge as well.
So in other words…
BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH, YOU HAVE 24 HOURS.
DO NOT DISAPPOINT.
