2014 San Diego Comic Con

With countless celebrities sharing their thoughts in 140 characters or less, it’s almost impossible to keep up with what’s going on with everyone — until now. Every Friday, ANDPOP’s Gabriella Zicarelli will be rounding up the best celebrity tweets to help you stay in the loop. This week is all about the fun and games that went down at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

The “Selfie of Justice”

Chris Hardwick was the moderator for everything Marvel at this year’s con, but then he crossed comic book lines for an opportunity we’re jealous of. Batman vs. Superman stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot surprised fans on Sunday and of course, when you have three superheroes in your presence, the only logical thing to do is to take a selfie.

I love this photo, Chris, but did you have to cover up of our beloved Henry?

AVENGERS!

Call me a fangirl but the feels were definitely in overdrive after seeing this photo of our beloved Avengers, including fresh faces Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Samuel L. Jackson shared this precious group shot on Twitter. There’s just so much going on that I might have stared at it for a good minute.

They’re all just so pretty.

Cumberbatch Selfie

Speaking of beautiful people, the list just wouldn’t be complete without a photo of Sherlock himself, Benedict Cumberbatch who happens to look good in a pair of shades. Once again, our favourite nerd Chris Hardwick came through with this smouldering photo.

Oh, the beauty.

Bruce Meet Bruce

The old guard meets the new as the lovely folks over at Marvel tweeted this great photo of Mark Ruffalo and former Hulk actor, Lou Ferrigno.

Don’t worry; there was no Hulk smashing going on here, just love, respect and all-around awesomeness.

Girl Power

Comic Con introduced their “Women Who Kick Ass” panel which featured ladies whose characters you don’t want to mess around with. Two of these ladies included Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany and American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson.

Yup, those are definitely two girls you don’t ever want to piss off.

The Adventures of Misha Collins

If there was one person who made sure to keep fans up-to-date with all his convention shenanigans, it was Supernatural’s Misha Collins. For the record, we loved every minute of it. To quickly summarize his weekend, here’s what went down:

There was his scuffle with a weird-mouthed Batman and Captain America.

He got arrested.

He took on coffee duty because he’s a giver.

He got mean for a second…

And then solidified what we already suspected.

Misha, how we love thee.

Maisie Williams is Spidergirl

Looks like Daniel Radcliffe wasn’t the only one who decided to go incognito this year. When Maisie Williams wasn’t charming fans with her fellow Games of Thrones castmates, she was putting her disguise skills to the test by donning a Spiderman and Guy Fawkes mask as she made her way through the hordes of fans.

Can she be any more of an incredibly awesome human?

Ferguson and Game of Thrones

Craig Ferguson was also a moderator for a few panels this year, one of which included Game of Thrones. But once the work was done, it was photo time. As a result, Craig shared this group photo paired with perfect caption.

Let’s start a petition to have Craig make a cameo next season.

CW Hunks

What better way to complete things than with a photo of the hunky men of the CW. Arrow’s Stephen Amell, posted a photo of himself and his fellow DC superheroes on Sunday and well, it was glorious.

Looking good, guys!
