UPDATE: It turns out it was all too good to be true as the news was just a rumour. Martin Mills, the chairman of Beggars Group, the parent company of Adele’s XL Recordings, told Billboard there’s “no truth” to the offending tweet which has since been deleted. However, Adele is due for another album and if she continues to name albums for the age she wrote them, her third record may actually be called 25. Who knows at this point…
Rejoice, Adele fans, as the British songstress is poised to return the world of music with a new album and tour!
Following in the footsteps of her debut album 19 and its critically acclaimed follow-up 21, Adele’s new album will reportedly be called 25, according to the official World Music Awards Twitter account.

Adele may have even hinted at the upcoming album on Twitter when she celebrated her 26th birthday earlier this year.
The British singer received six Grammy Awards for 21, an album largely comprised of break-up albums. But after recovering from a serious vocal hemorrhage injury, settling down with boyfriend Simon Konecki and having a baby together (one-year-old Angelo), it’s hard to say what Adele will be singing about next.
Baby toys? the difficulties of staying quiet 24/7? Pregnancy? Whatever it is, we’ll be listening.
