On the next chapter of Robin Thicke’s arduous quest to win his wife Paula Patton back, the singer has recruited children to sing along to his single ‘Still Madly Crazy.’
Set against a white background, girls wearing white dresses and boys wearing tuxedos fill the screen. And while they lip synch adorably to Thicke’s tune, they put on a mock wedding while giving out flowers and throwing cake at one another.
On one hand, this video is really cute. But since we all know this is all part of Thicke’s plan to win his wife back since their separation earlier this year, we can’t help but think that this is also just a way to manipulate us into routing for his cause.
We admire the effort, but it’s beginning to get a little out of hand. But since we know his whole album is named Paula, we can’t lie and say we aren’t just a little interested to see what Thicke has in store next.
And with that note, a recent interview with the singer also revealed that he hasn’t seen Patton in a while.
“I haven’t seen her for four months,” Robin Thicke said during a Hot 97 radio interview Tuesday. “We’re cool. She’s the best girl in the world, a great mother and still a good friend, but because we just weren’t ever together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize for and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album’s about. But I also want to wish her well and let her know that she’s a great person and she deserves to have a good life.”
