Following our #ManCrushMonday pick, we thought it would only be fair to feature a lovely lady from the YouTube community to be our #WomanCrushWednesday this week.
You probably know our #WCW, Grace Helbig, because of her old YouTube channel DailyGrace, or her current channel ItsGrace. Or maybe you watched Camp Takota, the movie which stars Grace and her fellow YouTube buddies Mamrie Hart and Hannah Hart. Whichever way you may have discovered Grace, you can’t deny that you love it whenever she graces us with her presence.
Just because we can’t seem to get her off our minds, here’s why we love our #WCW, Grace Helbig.
She’s a comedian
If you’re sad, and you need a reason to laugh or even smile, Grace Helbig is your girl. With her witty sense of humour and hilarious puns, it’s impossible not to laugh before she finishes her sentence.
She’s an actress
Starring alongside her YouTube buddies, Grace was the lead actress in Camp Takota. As Elsie, she and two other counsellors must save Camp Takota when the camp’s future is put in jeopardy. Along the way, the characters experience some very serious moments and share lots of laughs.
Grace should definitely think about acting in some other comedies. Maybe a part on Saturday Night Live?
She’s a YouTuber
“Hi, if you’re new. I make five videos a week, Monday through Friday. You might like them, you might hate them, but you can’t unsee them. Unless you have amnesia.”
That up there is Grace’s YouTube bio. It’s funny, right?
Grace set up her first YouTube account ItsGrace back in 2006 with videos now known as “Vintage Grace.” A year later, she created DailyGrace which is owned by the entertainment website and network, MyDamnChannel.com.
At the end of 2013, Grace decided to part ways with MyDamnChannel.com once her contract with the site expired. She then moved back to her current channel, ItsGrace, where fans can still get brand new videos with the same Grace.
Still funny as ever, we look forward to watching Grace daily on YouTube!
She could be a really good interviewer if she wanted to
With her sense of humour and bubbly personality, it’s no surprise that Grace does the best interviews. Last week, Grace interviewed one of our favourite author, John Green. Filled with hilarious puns and questions you never thought anyone would ask, this interview is one to sit down while holding a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage for anyone who happens to be under-aged).
She’s an author
By now you’d know that Grace is not your typical adult. Some may say she’s “pretending to be a grown-up.”
In fact, Grace’s book, Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending To Be A Grown Up, will be released in October and it contains any of the humour we’ve come to known and love in her YouTube videos, we know it’s going to be a hilarious book!
FYI: The book is now available for pre-order! Yay!
And if you still don’t think she’s the perfect Woman Crush:
