It was a tough decision, but someone had to do it. In honour of Father’s Day, we have compiled a list of 15 celebrity dads love. From their charming good looks, fashion sense, talents and all around good personalities, we’ve decided not to rank any of them because they’re all equally special in their own ways.
If you could marry one Avenger, who would it be? While Captain America might be one of our top choices, we would probably pick Thor aka Chris Hemsworth for his muscles, Mjölnir throwing skills and luscious blond locks. But in all seriousness though, we think Hemsworth is a hot dad. Seeing the way her carries his wee, little daughter India in his massive arms is just WAY TOO PRECIOUS. Not to mention that he’s also a father two twin sons Tristan and Sasha, we can’t wait to see what kind of sports shenanigans Hemsworth will get up to with them!
We were all a bit surprised when Aaron Taylor-Johnson married Sam Taylor-Johnson, who happens to be 23 years his senior. But when you know love is real, it shouldn’t matter right? In addition to seeming like a very happy couple, what we love about Aaron is the fact that he enjoys being a father and raising daughters. “I was raised by women. Now I’m raising women. I was always better around girls. I live in an all-female household. I even have two female dogs… It’s funny how that turned out,” he said in an interview with The Standard. “My girls have the best woman to look up to. She’s the strongest woman I know.”
Despite being the father of three boys and a daughter, David Beckham is one superstar dad. From playing pro soccer to having his own line of underwear for H&M (not to mention, this sexy commercial), what we also love about the Becks is his relationship with his wife Victoria. Together, they are a POWER COUPLE.
We were saddened when we found out he was splitting with Miranda Kerr. After all, the both of them were too gorgeous for words together. But if the world did get something out of the relationship, it was their adorable son Flynn…who has totally inherited the good genes from both his mom and dad.
We’re sure Orlando will have no problems finding love again with with his good looks, stylish fashion sense and love for his son. But as for now, we’re totally excited to see him reprise his role in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and star in the comedy Digging for Fire, starring alongside the likes of Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell!
He’s the new Christian Grey, need I say more? After taking over for Charlie Hunnam in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, there’s a reason why Dornan was chosen as a replacement. I mean, just LOOK at him. He IS beautiful! But while it might be awkward for his family to watch the film, the 32-year-old model/actor just became a dad in November to a little girl. AWW!
In addition to looking like he never ages, Pharrell is one hot dad because of his multiple talents. If he isn’t producing for the likes of Daft Punk, Robin Thicke and Ed Sheeran, Pharrell is writing Oscar-nominated songs like ‘Happy.’ We bet he sings this tune with his son!!
Robert Downey Jr.
Since we all can’t have Thor, Iron Man sure comes in a very close second.
Robert Downey Jr. plays the Avenger with such wit and charm, that it’s pretty obvious that he’s just acting as himself in the movies. But I digress.
We think Robert Downey Jr. is one cool dad because he’s funny, handsome and has tons of life experience to pass on to his two kids. In the past, the actor has been open about his substance abuse problems but has since managed to turn his life around starring in Marvel blockbusters and the Sherlock Holmes series. As well, he REALLY knows how to entertain kids. According to Jamie Foxx, Downey Jr. showed up to his daughter’s fifth birthday party as Iron Man just to make her happy. Now if that doesn’t make you sigh, then I don’t know what will.
We couldn’t helped but be charmed by each and every Jim Halpert face John Krasinski made on The Office. But between the stories of his childhood past to the pranks he pulls on friend, late night host Jimmy Kimmel, it’s his genuine sense of humour that we can really get behind.
Brad Pitt is 50 and this is what he looks like. He’s also one half of the most influential, most famous couple in Hollywood.
Hugh Jackman can sing, act, and transform himself into a real badass — and he does so with a genuine sense of humility. He’s also partly the reason why we keep watching X-Men movies.
Who doesn’t love Channing Tatum these days? The dancer-turned-actor has transformed himself into an actor’s actor by taking on a variety of roles, including an undercover cop in the action-comedy flick 21 Jump Street and its sequel 22 Jump Street, and an Olympic wrestler in the upcoming Oscar-bait film Foxcatcher. Let’s also not forget that Magic Mike was based on his experiences as a young male stripper.
Whether he’s the schlubby Andy Dwyer or the super, super buff Star-Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt makes us want to cry into our pillows every night. JUST LOOK WHAT CHRIS PRATT LOOKS LIKE ON A MOTORCYCLE (from the upcoming Jurassic World). Too bad he’s married to the equally beautiful Anna Faris.
Union J’s JJ Hamblett
This horse jockey turned pop star makes our hearts melt whenever he posts an adorable photo of him with his son Princeton. And if that wasn’t enough, he rules the stage with his boy band Union J.
He’s (the new) BATMAN! Need we say more?
McFly’s Tom Fletcher
While he may not have the rock hard abs Hollywood doles out on a continuous basis, Tom did make the world go “awww!!” at the same time after he made the ultra cute time lapse music video with his pregnant wife and which they dedicated to their newborn son.
