The madcap bachelor party movie The Hangover was released five years ago but that hasn’t stopped Psy and Snoop Dogg from having their own post-drunken adventuring fun. The two have teamed up to write and shoot the music video for the song “Hangover.”
In the music video, Psy and Snoop Dogg do a lot of drinking (with middle aged Korean ladies, no less), go to the Karaoke bar, eat some hangover food (convienience store instant noodles), and set off one impressive shot glass domino-type trick. And for those K-Pop fans out there, yes, that was G-Dragon you saw in the music video.
In line with his first transatlantic hit “Gangnam Style,” “Hangover” is a catchy dance-fuelled k-pop but without its own signature dance move. You also won’t have to worry about butchering the Korean language while singing this song sober or drunk as it’s mercifully sung/rapped in english. While this song is probably the last thing you want to hear while you’re hungover, it’s probably the first song you’ll admit to secretly liking while you’re drunk.
